GREEN FLAMINGO

Exciting news..!

From Tuesday July 12th  - July 21st mid week (excluding Monday’s) I’ll be running a pop up salad bar in Shoreditch.. the Green Flamingo.  
I had a few spare days so figured I should take a chance and try this out. If you know me, you’ll know I’m a big fan of fun salads and fresh vegetables. I found a venue kind enough to lend me their kitchen so it all seemed too good an opportunity to pass up. 

The idea behind the Green Flamingo is nutritious bowls of delicious plant based goodness packed full of flavour. Bowls that are good for you, but interesting and exciting as well.  

The details.. 

We’re based on Hanbury Street, just off Brick Lane at the Canvas Cafe E1. Service is 11am- 4pm Tuesday 12th-15th, 19th-21st July. 

I decided to focus on creating four amazing bowls, keeping the menu small and simple but putting all the love into these four in the hope that they will shine all the more for it. 

The Menu : 

Jungle Bowl -  crunchy vegetables, marinated tempeh, wasabi seeds, fresh herbs, pomelo and spicy cashew dressing £5.50 

Green Earth Bowl - lemon and herb brown rice, pickled veg, chickpeas, greens, green tahini and pistachio £5.50 

Caesar Bowl - massaged kale and mixed leaves, shaved courgette, quinoa, sourdough croutons, roasted almonds, fresh tarragon, oregano and caesar dressing £5

Elote Bowl - fresh corn, black beans in a agua chile dressing, avocado, chopped lettuce and radish, coriander,  sesame salsa  £6
